10x Banking is rebuilding what banking infrastructure looks like — cloud-native platforms now used by some of the world’s largest financial institutions. Founded in 2016 on the belief that traditional banking tech is being rendered obsolete, the company had hit the moment most fast-growing tech businesses face: scale was no longer the question, sustaining it was.
Headcount was climbing. Talent was harder to attract and retain. The values and behaviours that got the company from start-up to scale-up were never going to carry it through the next phase. 10x needed a culture diagnostic that went beyond employee engagement scores — something sharp enough to tell leadership what to fix, and what to double down on.
We built it lean. Executive interviews opened the diagnostic, then a Dragonfish culture performance audit set the frame. We designed a bespoke 10-question survey grounded in qualitative and quantitative research — small enough to get high response, deep enough to surface the patterns that matter.
We benchmarked 10x against other high-performing fintech and financial services businesses, and gave them an internal benchmark to track themselves against year on year. An interactive leadership workshop turned diagnostic into framework: top-performing behaviours identified by contractors, suppliers, employees and global teams, with short-term and long-term recommendations the leadership team owned themselves.
We facilitated the global town hall — 400+ 10x’ers across every site — that put the findings into the hands of everyone who needed them.
